Kellett School is a not-for-profit organisation, operating on a break-even basis. Kellett School's main source of income for meeting operating costs is school fee income. This income is used to deliver the best possible education to all students. Debenture income assists in meeting capital costs.
Additional funding through the Annual Fund facilitates the delivery of programmes and resources usually outside the remit of the normal operating budget to further inspire each student to become all that they can be. This aim is achieved by enhancing academic excellence, fostering leadership, encouraging creativity and building personal aptitudes.
Five priority headings were selected to correlate with the school’s curriculum development plan and aim to address enhancements for the whole school, with a balance of gain for students in both of the Prep Schools and the Senior School.
Each year the Annual Fund projects are set under the same 5 priorities. This year, the priorities will be funded in the following order:
Priority 1: Music and the Arts
Priority 2: Academic Enhancement
Priority 3: Student Leadership
Priority 4: Sports
Priority 5: Leaders in Learning
