Kellett School welcomes the use of its buildings and facilities by our community and any organisations that may serve and support it. Consideration to requests will be conditional on the user supporting the school’s over-arching objectives, aims and ethos.
School and school-sponsored activities will have priority over non-school-related activities at all times of the year. To this end there will be dedicated access times allocated for non-school-related use contingent on the formal school calendar. Even in such circumstances should the school calendar change, school and school-sponsored use will take priority and non-school-related bookings may have to be postponed or rearranged.
All requests for using our facilities will be by written application only, and these will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Usage fees to offset costs will apply, depending upon the type of event and purpose/activities of the organisation.
Applications for Use
To begin the process, a completed Hire of Facilities application form must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org to be received within at least twenty (20) working days prior to the scheduled event. Applications will be reviewed and considered subject to the following criteria:
- nature of event and its link/suitability to the schools objectives/ethos/aims;
- availability of facility and personnel;
- amount and type of space needed;
- applicant’s commitment to provide payment of fees and/or proof of liability insurance, if applicable.

A fresh application must be submitted for each new / subsequent academic year, beginning 1 September.
We are currently accepting bookings for the 2016-2017 academic year (September 1 - June 30). Applications will still be accepted throughout the academic year, however dates may be limited due to previous commitments.
