Netball at Kellett School continues to grow from strength to strength. Inclusion and ‘sport for all' remain the bedrock of our ethos. We are fully committed to providing opportunities for all our players to become the very best they can be. This means we recognise all levels of ability and from the base of the pyramid we will plan a pathway to suit each student.

We currently have teams for all age groups (Year 7-13) in which student’s trial for places. Each team has their own dedicated coach to lead them in training and matches. Kellett School enters into the HKSSF Netball competition, which enables pupils to play against schools in Kowloon, the New Territories and those on Hong Kong Island.

Sports tours are another way for pupils to gain further experience in Netball. During 2015 - 2016 Kellett School took an U19 Netball team to play in the ACAMIS U19 Invitational netball tournament in Shanghai, which is to become a regular fixture on the Kellett School calendar. In the future we are looking to go further afield (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England) for our netballers to challenge themselves.

In order for all of our players to excel we encourage and support students in joining local clubs. Our links with local clubs are strong and many players are already regular members of local teams such as the Hong Kong Football Club and Hong Cricket Club. For players showing exceptional talent there is the opportunity to attend one of the Hong Kong Netball development workshops and trials for the opportunity to be selected onto the Junior development programme, which offers talented netballers high quality coaching and a pathway through to Regional and National netball.
