Rugby is a core sport at Kellett with a huge number of students playing for Kellett and numerous clubs around Hong Kong with many students going on to represent regional teams. Kellett has a very established rugby programme consisting of seasonal leagues for each age group.

Every committed student to the rugby training programme is given the opportunity to represent Kellett irrespective of his body shape or skill set. Rugby is used as a vehicle for developing the core values of sportsmanship, courage, respect, honesty, and discipline, all in a climate of playing for enjoyment. Rugby also creates unique scenarios in which to develop and hone leadership skills.

Teams at Kellett all have their own coach and training programme, including supervised access to the Strength & Conditioning Suite where functional training will help develop power, speed and strength for the rugby field. We are very lucky to have an abundance or rugby expertise in the PE department both in playing and coaching to a National level, students are in very capable hands.
