The study of Mandarin begins from Reception, and is taught through a spiralling, sequential and communicative approach. The near native Mandarin curriculum covers the Chinese passages, language rhetoric knowledges and students would appreciate different genres from a variety of Chinese literacy pieces and poems to build up their reading and writing skills. The content is theme-based, age appropriate, expansive and practical. Students can opt to take additional or alternative Modern Foreign Languages in Senior School.
