Over the course of a day in February Kellett asked its community across the globe to come together to support bursaries, which enable children without the financial means to join the School.
The Kellett community rose to the challenge with donations exceeding HK$2million, enough to provide a place for a child from Y5-13. The Giving Day is part of Kellett’s 26by26 campaign, which aims to raise HK$26million by the School’s 50th anniversary in 2026, enabling two bursary students to join each year.
Staff and students came together on the day itself to raise awareness by creating a ‘Happy’ dance video, as well as having a fashion show and school disco. Alumni staff and students across the globe also shared heartfelt video messages talking about the importance of giving back.
It is a testament to the committed and connected Kellett Community that made its first ever Giving Day such a success.
